Todays Women Working for Tomorrows World

Cycling and Walking at IckworthWI Welcomes ladies of all ages, we meet on the 2nd Thurday of each month at the Hartest Institute - 7.30 pm.

Most months we have a speaker and the topics are extremely diverse, from travelling in Cuba - to valuable gems (this included valuable jewellery being passed around the group and tried on during the evening!), the work of the Citizens Advice Bureau and the rakish history of the ancestors of one of our own members - this is to name a few topics over the past few months. We also enjoy trips out - for Cream Teas, Mystery Trips and Xmas meals.

Rest assured, we do make cakes from time to time, but that is not our main function - you will find very interesting and interested ladies within our group and our discussions encompass not only bygone days but also up to date issues which affect society as a whole.

As with all groups, we are always looking for new members, come along and meet us all - we will make you very welcome.

President Lynne Webb 01284 830987

Secretary Liz Depper 01284 830797
