Thank you to everyone who took the time to comment on the most recent consultation on the draft Hartest Neighbourhood Plan. We had hoped to be able to make swift progress towards the adoption of a plan, however, following the discovery that there may be uncertainties, we have been advised to temporarily pause progress.
Furthermore, we have been informed that Babergh will be making an announcement on their 5 year land supply in July. We have, therefore, agreed to review the Neighbourhood Plan when the outlook is clearer.
We will keep residents fully informed and I am sorry not to be able to report better progress.
Hartest Parish Council is hoping to make a formal submission of the Proposed Hartest Neighbourhood Plan to Babergh District Council by 25 May 2018.
